Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the quality of CSD, NCB, NRB, Aseptic, Tetrapak and concentrate lines;
- Leading quality laboratory team. Coaching and leading plant projects (new product, line validation, trials, etc.);
- Direct the activities of the Quality Department to ensure that raw materials, packaging materials, in process products and finished products conform to all specifications;
- Responsible for the AIB & FSSC22000 & Internal Audits which related with the quality and laboratory;
- Responsible for the new products micro validations regarding quality requirements;
- Provides technical and process knowledge for water treatment/waste water, product batching, product testing, package and supplier capability, Aseptic processing, Tetrapak processing, CSD & NCB beverage processing;
- Maintains Good Manufacturing Practices with regards to micro/sanitation, and pest control chemicals, packaging, waste, productivity;
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the plants Quality systems to ensure compliance to regulations;
- Lead up-to-date knowledge of process improvements and technical developments;
- Utilizes sound judgment in customer and consumer issues and possible crisis management;
- Sets frontline performance standards providing coaching and feedback to build capability;
- Implementation of global best practice and kaizen projects related with Quality and Packaging.
Requirements:
- University degree in an engineering discipline or business administration;
- 7+ years of work experience in a senior leadership role within food and beverage production OR other related areas;
- Considerable experience of leading a quality function with a proven track record in strategic quality leadership delivering effective quality strategies, policies, processes and systems;
- Strong HSE awareness;
- Strong knowledge of international quality standards (ISO);
- Analytical and innovative – able to review situations to develop unique solutions/improvement plans;
- Capable of managing large headcounts;
- Effective team player and communicator – able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across various levels;
- Strong Leadership & People Management skills;
- Problem Solving/Root Cause Corrective Action;
- Computer Literate (MS Office);
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including report writing;
- Good command of English and Russian with Azerbaijani native.
