Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring equipment reliability to minimize downtime by implementing of the planned maintenance activities;
- Lead the Manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery goals in line with the business need. Coaching Line Leaders, cascade & communicate the plans and targets to employees to ensure alignment and understanding around priorities, focus and KPI’s;
- Lead capital and expense projects and ensure that the projects are completed in a timely manner, within budget and perform at or above expectations per company project delivery process and applicable standards;
- Lead all Manufacturing standards, Governance, Compliance requirements (e.g. Quality, Food safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Code of conduct, Policies & principles, Operational standards, Local legal requirements, Internal Audit norms, & other procedures updated from time to time) are in place, understood by all, and is regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation;
- Lead and be Accountable to establish a strong Governance to Review, Control Operational performance and Continuous Improvement plan and embed a zero loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best in class both internally and externally. Drive the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation;
- Manage and supervise the workforce, including task allocation, setting deadlines, monitoring performance and staff training;
- Ensure the implementation and maintaining of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);
- Maintaining and continually improving the Health and Safety System;
- Participating in factory trials and new product launches of product;
- Manage and supervise Lean manufacturing processes (5S, Kaizens, etc.);
Requirements:
- University degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Production or Food Technology and Manufacturing);
- 7+ years of work experience in a senior leadership role within Production, Manufacturing OR other related areas;
- Capable of managing large headcounts;
- Analytical and innovative – able to review situations to develop unique solutions/improvement plans;
- Effective team player and communicator – able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across various levels;
- Strong HSE awareness;
- Experience and Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing;
- Strong Leadership & People Management skills;
- Problem Solving/Root Cause Corrective Action;
- Computer Literate (MS Office);
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including report writing;
- Good command of English and Russian with Azerbaijani native;
- Able to focus on cost control and efficiency;
- Ability to handle pressure and assess and allocate priorities.
