Pepsi – Pepsi was created in 1893 by Caleb Bradham in his own pharmacy in New Bern, North Carolina. The drink was originally called Brad’s Drink, named after Caleb Bradham, and made from a mixture of sugar, water, caramel, lemon oil, coconut and cola. In 1898, the drink was renamed Pepsi in honor of the enzyme pepsin. For more than 50 years, PepsiCo has changed as tastes, trends and lifestyles have changed. Today, PepsiCo is one of the world’s leading companies with products sold in nearly 200 countries.
